COME RUN the course on JUNE 20, 2020 from 8am to 10am. Caren Ware Events Van will be parked in Lot behind Jack in the Box on Beach Blvd and Warner. A timer will be at the start and finish of the course, which this year will begin in the parking lot west of BOLSA CHICA STATE PARK behind Warner and PCH on Pacific North.. Behind Jack in the Box. Once you sign up, click on the excel drop down and you can pick a start time between 8am and 9:30am. Or show up and we will give you a Safe distanced start time. You are running the course on your own. There is no course provisions. We will hand you a bottle of water and energy bar with your treasured BOOTY (shirt and medal). We will have a friendly person at the 5k and 10k turn around points to remind you to turn around. Once all course times are in and virtual times submitted, we will post results at 11am. You can pick up your division medal in the start/finish lot from 10:am to 10:30am or in front of GOLDEN ROAD BREWERY in Huntington beach, one mile west of the start and finish from 11am to noon….or have it mailed to you by going back and picking the $7 have division mailed added option after the race..

You can get your BLING (Bib, shirt, and medal) at packet pick up CAREN WARE EVENTS VAN pick up in the parking lot just east of STARBUCKS and GOLDEN ROAD Brewery 16470 Pacific Coast Hwy, Huntington Beach, CA 92649 on Friday, June 19 3pm to 6pm. This is one mile west on PCH from the start and finish. Or from the Caren Ware Events Van on Saturday, June 20 at June 20 from 8am to 10am. You MUST practice social distancing and remain 6 feet apart . Wait patiently. It will get to be your turn! Thank you so much for doing this in an adjusted way until we can evolve back to party camaraderie in the safe future.

Plan to be a part of our pirate invasion at THE PIRATE'S RUN 5K /10K that starts June 1 and finishes June 20 Saturday, June 20, 2020 at noon with the Milage Challenge and earn extra medals and treasure! . BLING. BLING. PLUS raffles and course awards. Staying together-apart in our first comeback race. We have a really creative custom designed ship medal and a custom pirate's shirt in soft material. One of a kind. And one of a kind times. We are having to adjust the event to abide by State mandated regulations. There will be no organized set up in the State Park.

SO. RUN with us this way: We are going to offer a curbside timer on June 20 that will be at the Bolsa Chica State Beach from am 8am to 10:am on JUNE 20.. Sign up for a time to go on the course every 10 minutes during time. Sign up sheet sent once you register. (This is not an organized event at the State Park. Just a person with a timing antanne to give you a recorded time.. Groups of 10 or less will leave every 5 minutes.. Practice whatever required social distancing is mandated at the time.

We also have an array of competition. We still want motivation and camaraderie. We still want rewards and awards for being active. We still want every BODY Up n Running , including us. SO… We are going to do a virtual competition in two ways. Join one or the other or both. Pick up your bling (bib,shirt, medal) at Roadrunner Sports on Friday, June 19 from 3:00 to 6pm. Or Saturday, June 20 from 10am to noon. Or have your BLING mailed right to your home. Then go run one or all three of the Huntington State Beach, Huntington City Pier course, and the Bolsa Chica State Beach course in the month of June. Or, not from So Cal. Pick your choice course. Come back to the race website and enter your times if you want to be included in the division awards. VIRTUALLY you can run anywhere in the USA for our virtual division awards. Or run these So Cal courses for our age division COURSE awards. If you do not want curbside pick up, your bling can be mailed to you will arrive by Friday, June 19. Choose $12 mail back fee option. Or , be the 180 time slots and form a group that you run on June 20 at Bolsa Chica.

So RUN or WALK. Do your own virtual run and input your time. Or DO THE ACTUAL COURSE at BOLSA CHICA STATE PARK ( starts Lot 25 about on the corner of Warner and PCH and heads East on Saturday, June 20, 2020 or run or these courses on your own. HUNTINGTON STATE BEACH (starts at the first lot on the Corner of PCH and BEACH Blvd and heads east) , HUNTINGTON CITY Pier course (Starts at Beach Blvd and PCH and heads west past the pier) enter your best time for one of these courses and be eligible for age division awards. TIMES must be posted by 10am on Saturday June 20. A VIRTUAL ZOOM Awards party will take place at 12:00 NOON (pacific standard time) and physically at Road runner Sports . If you won an age division award , you can opt to pick up at race start by 10:30am or at Golden Road Brewery in Huntington State beach from 11am to noon. June 20 or have it mailed to you. ($7 mailing fee) . If you come in person to pick up, bring a mask or face covering. You do not need to run with one.

ALSO, IN ADDITION. We have a STAY ACTIVE event: Join" THE PIRATE'S Life for Me JUNE MILEAGE CHALLENGE". Join the 50 mile challenge. (Earn an extra medal) AND the 100 MILE challenge. (earn a medal rack and extra medal) And the most mileage challenge. Top ten win extra medal, medal rack, and a trophy!

LOT east of STARBUCKS. Make a right and go BEHIND the starbucks to the right. GO BEHIND the drive in line. And look for the flourescent pink CAREN WARE EVENTS VAN. There is no outlet in this parking lot. You will have to exit the way you entered. Just so you know.

PARKING: If you want to go run the course

PARKING at BOLSA CHICA STATE BEACH is $15. You may wish to carpool. To enter into BOLSA CHICA STATE BEACH go in the main gate on PCH and drive the furthest EAST to the very last parking lot Lot 25. This year's course start will be outside the park and the curved corner west of the restrooms before the park gate. . The course starts on the bike path closet to the famous Jack In the Box on the corner of Warner and PCH. You can park in lots south in Sunset Beach. Practice safe and proper social distancing. And whatever single use persons are required to abide by at the State Park. For Huntington State Beaches and the Huntington City Beach parking lots, there is a $15 a day fee. The state park has weekday hourly parking on the first lot on the east of Beach Blvd and PCH and metered parking is along PCH and Beach. FYI. This information is if your are going to run all three course. We are just giving you chances to finally get out and run some good runs!

Note: You are running on your own. There are NO organized events allowed at the State Parks in June. You are running at your own risk. We are just providing the BLING to motivate your run. And tallying times to give you a competition to finally get to have. Thank for adjusting as we are having to adjust.
