On a Mission LLC has partnered with iGive a 501(c) (3) non-profit charitable organization, for the Shreveport/Bossier area. Our primary goal is to help raise funds for scholarships to give to single father with children going off to college and help those in need of school supplies as children go back to school.
Date & Starting Time: Saturday, June 12th, 2021. ½ mile fun run – 8:00 a.m., 5k 8:30 a.m.
Location: Southern Hills Park, Shreveport, LA
5k Registration: Ages 19 & older $20.00 through May 15th, $25.00
May 16th – June 11th,
Race day registration is $35.
Children infant to 5 years old $5.00 until May 15th, $10.00
May 16th – June 11th, race day is $15.00
Children 6-18 years old $10.00 until May 15th, $15.00
May 16th – June 11th, race day is $20.00
Families of 4-5 people (immediate family) can register for $75.00 through May 15th.
Fun Run Registration: Fun Run is free, but you do not get a race shirt unless you register for the 5k.
Let us know what school you attend. The school with the most registrations wins $500.00
Sleep-in supporter: If you cannot be there but still would like to show your support, sign up as a sleep-in supporter. Registration fee for “Sleep-in supporter” is $20. Sleep-in supporters do not receive a shirt.
REGISTER EARLY! No shirts guaranteed to late registrants.
This race is open to both fathers and mothers!!! So the whole family can participate.
T-shirts & Race Packet Pick-Up: Every pre-registered participant will receive an original “Father’s Day 5k run/ walk” t-shirt.
Packet pick up will be held at Sportspectrum- 6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport.
Thursday, June 10th from 12 pm- 6:00 pm
Friday, June 11th from 10 am-5:30 pm.
You may also pick up your packet on Race Day at the Race Site at 7:00am.
Awards: Overall male & female winners will receive a trophy.
Additionally, 1st & 2nd Place in each of the age groups will receive an award.
Age Groups: 11-under, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Post Party: Stick around for food and drinks after the race.
Special Note: Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but must start in the back.

D) This event is private and all participants must pre-register.
