SHORTCAKE 4K AT SUNSHINE HORSES

The ShortcaKe 4K is the 4th race event in the 2023 Dick's Sporting Goods Family Fit Running Series. We all run for different reasons why not add "Running for Shortcake" to the list.

The ShortcaKe 4K is presented by Northside Collision and will benefit Sunshine Horses, Inc. All finishers receive a fresh strawberry shortcake as a reward for job well done! The first 250 registrants also receive a custom race shirt and finishers get the super cute finisher medal featuring Shortcake 4K mascot- Strawberry the Donkey that resides at Sunshine Horses with all his horse buddies waiting for forever homes!

Please keep in mind: If you are not comfortable being at the site and running on Race Day, we have added a virtual option.

Stick around after the race event for a fun filled day at the Sunshine Horses Open House.

The race event will benefit Sunshine Horses, a not-for-profit organization helping horses, helping people. Sunshine Horses is an independent agency and rescue facility that rehabilitates, retrains and seeks adoptions for retired Standard bred race horses.
