PRE-RACE DRIVE BY PACKET PICKUP FRIDAY, May 7th at the LEWES PUBLIC LIBRARY located at 111 Adams Ave; Lewes, DE. 19958 (off Freemon Highway on the left heading towards the Ferry & CHSP) from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.

NAME: 12th Seashore Classic 1/2 Marathon, 2-person Relay & 5k

RACE TIME: 8 am start

RACE ENTRY FEE:

½ Mar.-$45 through Sun 5/2 at midnight & $50 through Friday, May 7th at 6 pm when packet pick-up ends.

½ Mar. Relay-$35 (per person) through Sun 5/2 at midnight & $40 through Friday, May 7th at 6 pm when packet pick-up ends.

5k Run/Walk- $25 through Sun 5/2 at midnight & $30 through Friday, May 7th at 6 pm when packet pick-up ends.

RACE COURSE: Beautiful out & back course through Cape Henlopen State Park to Gordon's Pond & back.

RACE TIMING: Seashore Strider Event Production will chip time the event using the Chronotrack chip timing system.

RACE AMENITIES: Long sleeve Race shirts and refreshments at Irish Eyes, FINISHER Medals to all runners in the 1/2 Marathon.

RACE DETAILS:
· ½ Marathon individual…Open division (male/female)
· 5K run/walk
· ½ Marathon Relay Teams (note: each relay member must register individually)
2 Male, 2 Female, Co-Ed
Relay…1st runner will begin with the open ½ marathon
Relay… 2nd runner will meet at the half way point at Gordons Pond in Rehoboth Beach. The relay legs are approx. 6-6.5 each

NEW COVID19 RACE-DAY EVENT SCHEDULE:

No Race-Day Registration
8:00 a.m. – Start of ½ Marathon, ½ Relay, 5k Run
– Due to Covid, the VAN will not be used in 2021 and Relay members will provide their own transportation to the Gordons Pond exchange area in

Rehoboth Beach.

We will have a social distance award ceremony

Awards that are not picked up at the race can also will be available to be picked up during the week locally as well. Contact tim@seashorestrider.com to arrange a pickup if you miss the awards ceremony. Seashore Striders will mail "Out of Town" awards by receiving a check for $10 to cover postage.

PARKING: Plenty of parking in the following locations:

• Lewes Beach located just 1/2 mile from the start/finish
• Georgia Beach located just 3/4 mile from the start/finish
• Behind the Beacon Motel located at the start/finish
• No Parking at Irish Eyes

AWARDS: Custom awards will be presented to the Overall, Master, and the top three finishers in the following age groups for each event:

5k…9 & U, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

1/2m…19 & U, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

Relay…Top 5 teams in the Male, Female, Co-Ed Divisions
