We knew this was coming but it does not make it any easier to announce that the 2020 Delta Lake Triathlon will be postponed to 2021.
Please know that we place our participants, our volunteers, spectators and the community members health and well being above all else.
The great news is that we are confirmed to hold the event on July 17, 2021. Your registration has automatically been deferred to that date. You don't need to do anything.
However; we will be offering all of you the option to transfer for no extra fee* to any of the following events that we are able to hold this calendar year:
~Findley Lake Triathlon – August 1
~*CassadagaMan – September 5th (with a discounted fee based upon your current registration)
~KBR Triathlon – September 19
~Amish Country Running Festival – September 26
We will continue to send you emails and make announcements on Facebook as to the status of future events. You will be given instructions at that time if you decide to transfer to another race. Watch our website for more info on the above listed events at www.CoachMarkWilson.com
Please know that we are extremely disappointed to not be racing with you this year.
Stay safe, stay well and continue to train. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

**The Olympic participants will complete 2 loops of each course.
The event will begin on the shores of the beach, with a transition adjacent to the bath house. Athletes will swim 750m starting from the shore of the Delta Lake swimming beach. The 10.7 mile bike loop course on NY Route 46 featuring a flat, smooth road with a bountiful riding lane is a perfect course. The 5K run course will be held entirely within the State Park itself AND THERE WILL BE A NEW RUN COURSE DESIGN FOR 2021.
Competition will complete the event after the bike. Finish times are recorded as participants cross the timing mat as they enter transition. Finishers can make their way to the Finish Line for their race medals. There are no relay team entries for the AquaBike.
The Sprint & Olympic Triathlon can be entered as a relay team of 2 or 3 members; each completing 1-2 of the event legs. Team members exchange the timing chip inside the transition area.
It's simple really. First, compete in the Delta Lake Sprint Triathlon, then suit up and give the Olympic race a go. Add it all up and it's almost a half iron race.
Athletes competing in the Delta Double should plan on finishing the Sprint race in 1:25 or less to ensure they get to the starting line of the Olympic on time.
For ages 4 – 13.
All ages will complete a 50m swim, 1 mile bike, 400m run
