We encourage you to join Eaton County Health & Rehabilitation Services in their 6th Be Well at ECHRS 5K Run/Walk. This will mark the 6th anniversary of this healthy fundraising event for ECHRS. We are currently organizing this as an in-person attendance event. As time approaches, if the COVID 19 virus impacts the event and we have to change the format we will contact all registrants.

Date: Saturday, July 31, 2021

Start Window: 7:30-8:30 am Come any time during the hour race start window (7:30-8:30 am). When the starting line is clear go ahead and start your race. No more than 5 people will start at a time. You do not have to feel rushed to get to the starting line. Start when you are ready and at your own pace!

Location: Eaton County Health & Rehabilitation Services, Outpatient Therapy parking lot at 1027 Health Care Drive, Charlotte, MI.

We will be modifying the format of this event to follow safe social distancing practices. Participant packets will be distributed on the day of the event with social distancing guidelines followed including temperatures obtained. Participant packets that will include event logo short sleeve t-shirt, bib, and participant giveaways will be placed in zipped baggies. If you do not feel well the day of the event, please do not attend. We will make sure that your packet is sent to you ASAP. There will be plenty of hand sanitizer and masks available for those who come without a mask. You will be asked to wear a mask before and after the event. You can remove your mask once you begin the race.

Refreshment packets will be handed to runners/walkers as they cross the finish line which will include a bottle of water, healthy snacks, and apple/banana. The event location has a very large parking lot enabling all runners/walkers to safely socially distance themselves while cheering other participants across the finish line.

All proceeds benefit: A special Saebo Virtual Reality System Fund ($17,000 fund goal) within The Healing & Healthcare Foundation is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization. This rehabilitation system will provide patients who have suffered CVAs or some other neurological disorder with a virtual real-life system that challenges the client's endurance, speed, range of motion, coordination timing and cognition for patients staying at the Healing Center and long term residents of Eaton Gardens.
