Location: LaFortune Park – parking lot nearest to the baseball fields

Race day starting at 6am to 7:15am LaFortune Park Pavilion at start line

ABOUT Lindsey House

Lindsey House is a non-profit organization that is fully funded by the generosity of the community and events like this one. Lindsey House is a transitional living facility that serves women with children who are experiencing situational homelessness. In addition to providing families a fully-furnished apartment, women participate in a series of curriculum focused on financial literacy, workplace proficiency and life skills. The program takes one year to complete and families are able to live at Lindsey House up to two years as they build on and implement the program lessons. Currently, we have 24 mothers and over 40 children who call Lindsey House home.

Our goal is for program participants to:

• stabilize employment
• eliminate or significantly reduce debt
• establish an emergency savings fund
• learn to live within a budget
• secure affordable housing

At Lindsey House, we provide a home for today and hope for the future.
