The ocean has given us so much, and we've decided it's high time to return the favor!

Support Mother Ocean and nonprofits that protect her by running/walking in the Ocean Fest 5K or One-Miler on the beautiful sands of Surf City, NC. Enjoy running on the beach while knowing that you are supporting efforts to keep our oceans clean and healthy…then stick around to soak in a full day of fun. Ocean Fest is a free, all-day beachside live music/arts/surf/eco festival with a beer garden, kids zone, and live bands playing in downtown Surf City until 8 pm. Note: This run takes place entirely on the sand/beach. All participants 21 and older will receive a complimentary Fat Tire beer afterwards in the Ocean Fest beer garden.

HOW TO REGISTER
Register Before the Race: Click on the SIGN UP button in the upper right corner
Register At Pre-Race Packet Pickup or On Race Day: You can register at the race, online anytime before the start of the race on your own device (phone/ipad,computer), and still get your packet at pre-race packet pickup or the race.

ABOUT OCEAN FEST
Ocean Fest is a free beachfront live music/arts/surfing/eco festival that is entirely volunteer-operated and 100-percent nonprofit with all proceeds going to a variety of ocean-related charities and environmental causes. The event was founded in 2019 by three surfing buddies who can usually be found riding the waves of Surf City, North Carolina. The motivation behind Ocean Fest is simply to share our love for the ocean, celebrate the pure joy of surfing, and, most importantly, to give something meaningful back to Mother Ocean.
