Race Info
Event + Course Description for 12, 6, and 3 hour races:
The timed races will have a staggered start, allowing all the runners to experience the dusk/dark and the eerie feeling that comes with it. Headlamps will be required! The course is a 2.2 mile paved path following the perimeter of the lake, while also winding through the surrounding woods and Karina Miller nature preserve. There is roughly 70′ of gain and loss per loop. The start/finish area will have typical aid station fare and water provided as well as plenty of space to set up your own personal aid-stop if you choose to do so. We will also have a water stop at the halfway point of the course. Please note that the park will be open to the public during this event, so please be respectful of others using the path and follow all of the recommended shared trail behavior protocols (ie. pass on left, announce yourself, don’t drop trash anywhere other than a designated receptacle!) Please also be aware that the Trick or Treat fun run will start at 6PM and there may be an initial blob of runners/walkers and children starting out, but should thin out quickly.
