3-6-12-30 Hour Race

The Old Millstone Golf Course

September 10th 2022

The race series is proud to establish a scenic 2.66 Mile Loop (ALL ON CART PATH) around the Old Millstone Golf course on the west side of Greenville. The Ethos Project has recently purchased this 200 acre plot of land and placed it under a permanent protection conservation easement. A conservation easement is set of restrictions placed on a designated piece of land that prevents development or other substantial change in perpetuity. It is voluntary and unchangeable, and is designed to preserve and protect the property’s natural state. The course will offer a fast attempt at a distance PR. There will be water on site but no power so please bring solar or a quiet running generator if you need it.

Camping & Personal Aid Station

Camping is an option this year for participants. There is a $5 fee per vehicle that is included in your registration. You will be able to set up a 10 x 10 personal aid station along the course near the start finish line and the parking lot throughout the event. You will be able to set up your area prior to the race start or on Friday from 4pm to 7pm. There will be water on site but no power so if you have a portable generator or solar lights that would be advised for overnight running. All runners must have a headlamp or flashlight during the night hours.

Aid Station

We will have a basic aid station at the start/finish line of the race that includes water, tailwind, soda, cookies, crackers, and other sugary fixes! We gladly accept aid station donations of food items that you like to see at races. Our staff is very busy with course marking, timing, packet pickup, and communication with runners, that it does make it hard to prepare some amazing tasty treats in-between laps so feel free to contribute a little slice of heaven if you can! Thank you

Personal Tent Set Up – Drop Bags

Athletes who are not camping are permitted to have a drop bag or personal tent near the aid station in the open field adjacent to the start/finish line loop outside of fireside hall. Even if it rains. Please be mindful to place your personal belongings off the course as to not impede the runners, the flow of traffic, or other race participants. The start and finish line loop will serve as the official drop bag area designation. When you are finished with your race please "pack in and pack out" making the host facility look better than you found it.
