We are having a TOGETHER- APART form of THE TIKI BEACH 5k/10K. CHANGE of LOCATION as BEACH locations and STATE Parks are subject to closures and are opting to not include open events during the current times. Our NEW LOCATION we can have space to spread out: hand out medals, bibs, and shirts…and send you off on a course one by one. SO…. WE ARE BRINGING THE BEACHY atmosphere to you. We are creating a creative TOGETHER-APART Polynesian party themed staging area where you can participate safely: park one space apart from each car. Come pick up your shirt, bib, and finisher medal 6 feet apart and MASKED. It's a MASKED assembled event for 2021…instead of a MASS ASSEMBLY! Thank you for being flexible with the flux of daily changes to how we can best keep all of us HEALTHY, ACTIVE, and safe.

Here's how it works: Course and pick up opens at 6:30am. Come between 6:30am and 8am. Get your Bib and shirt, and medal and proceed to the start mats . You will be checked in and sent off spaced apart, staggered from 6:30am to 8:00am,. Course times will be tabulated for top three overall trophies and age division awards. Tabulated times will be posted at 9:00am for the 5k. And 9:30am for the 10K. They will also be posted online. If you choose to. You can pay $7 and have any age division awards mailed to you. Or if at any time you want to just receive your bling in the mail, you can add a $10 mail back fee, or sign up as a virtual runner. BLING is mailed on Aug 3.

The shipment of shirts, tanks, and finsiher medals, and age division medals arrived. So we have ample, ample sizes, and 5 year age spans for age division awards. We are grateful for offering motivation and goals to keep us all UP n RUNNNIG…safely,

Welcome to the Annual Tiki Beach 5K/10K.m YOUR Polynesian themed Summer RACE. Every participant gets a Hawaiian style race shirt (Choice of tank top or short sleved coolmax) and CUSTOM CAST FINISHER MEDAL! CAREN WARE EVENTS are RFID CHIP Timed by ITZ ABOUT TIME and have very cool age division awards and overall finisher trophies. (5 year age spans this time!) Because of our specialty CHIP Timing, we are able to do staggered start, one at a time races as we are dealing with COVID-19 concerns on race day! EVERYONE gets a time, even walkers. We are passionate about offering FUN ACTIVITY, Competition, and SOMETHING for Everybody and every body races! This year, we will not be able to serve Coconut pancakes, but will have some wrapped treat at the finish. We DO have grass skirts as extra add ons and race logo beach balls!

The course is Flat and fast, or slow and easy, make it the pace you want it. This 5K/10K course runs along the Santa Ana River Bed in its newly rennovated section with new parks and refreshing shade as it goes under underpasses. You get a view of the Angels BIG A on your return. Course opens at 6:30am. You must start by 8:10am. Finish Timing remains open until 9:30am. Wearing Masks are required at packet pick up and at the start and finish area, but NOT on the RUN. And we will be sending you out one by one, or family groups when you arrive and are ready to test your goals on the course.

A "beachy" Polynesian themed start area…standing 6 feet apart! We can't do a run on the beach, but we can bring the beach to YOU! Run the course and still enjoy a TIKI BEACH vibe and BLING!

You can OPP to RUN VIRTUALLY and still get the great bling of all the race vibe in a packet sent directly to your home. Not from SO CAL? No problem, also join us vritually. There will be an added feature to this website opened by August 1 where you can include your virtual time.

The 5k/10K Run course start line is open to from 6:30am to 8:15. We will start you one at a time or in family groups. Course must be completed by 10:00am.

The Kid's Fun Run can Start any time between 7:00am and 8:30am.

Strollers Allowed at the Race. Strollers stay to the right and back of the pack. You will be starting on hard pack dirt. And THERE ARE OPEN PUBLIC and BICYCLES on the course. You are running on your own and must give right away to cyclists.
