After a great race at the new start at Gateway Plaza in 2020 and 2021, we are back for the Raleigh (Holiday) Half Marathon on Saturday, December 3rd on the same course! Sign up here!
The December race will (hopefully) be the 2022 USATF and RRCA State Championship again. All finishers will receive a unique 2022 Raleigh Half Marathon Finisher’s medal, and the Top 75 Men and Top 75 Women overall will receive a hand made award to be named later.
The Top 3 Male and Female finishers will receive prize money. A $250 bonus will be available as well for event records. The race will be limited to 750 runners.
The Raleigh (Holiday) Half Marathon is directed and promoted by Sir Walter Running, a Raleigh-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring the Greater Raleigh running community together through innovation, activation, and inclusivity. Sir Walter Running is a USATF club that also produces the Sir Walter Miler, the Pop Up Miles series, the Raleigh RunDown Downhill Mile, Pop Up Cross Country at Dix Park, a series of Strava Challenges, and the Summer of Miles podcast.
