The 10th Annual KT 50k/25K/10k trail race schedules for August 1st, 2020 has been cancelled. The plan is to have the race next year August 7th, 2021. You will have the option of getting a refund, or keeping yourself in the race for next year. We will be emailing you with the details soon.

People will travel from many different states to participate in this race. The 50K and 25K race is set to cap out this year at 100 runners in each race. The 10K is unlimited runners and includes same day registration. All three courses are Point to Point trail races with one common finish at the Boy Scout camp in Ona/Barboursville, WV. There is a Kids fun run on August 2nd, as well as the pasta dinner for all participants. The KT runs through 3 counties in WV, which many parts are old bison and Indian trails. It began in 1962 from one scouts dream, Charlie Dundas of connecting these trails and creating a journey, it has been maintained by the scouts since. This race has a variety of terrain for every trail runner, it is mainly made up of 26 miles of single track trails and around 5 miles of country dirt/paved roads.
