The Ignite 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run

Event Details:

The 1st Annual Ignite 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run is a Multi Race Event Day. A Treasure hunting adventure for the whole family – Runners can take part in a Certified 5K or a 1 Mile Fun Run or BOTH !

Participants are encouraged to Run, Jog, Walk or Roll through the beautiful John Chesnut Snr Park in Palm Harbor . Dress up in costume or just being some fun props for this fun family friendly treasure hunt for all ages. Ignite promotes whole body, mind and heart health and wellness – encouraging everyone to be the best they can be as Gods unique creation.

The 5K will be a timed race and will include prizes for the top three runners in 2 age groups, including men and women. Runners will receive a bib number with a disposable timed chip on the back, race shirt, race medal and other swag. A perfect chance for you to earn your "1st" Run Medal

The One Mile Fun run is a non timed family friendly event open to everyone of all ages. The run will include a treasure hunt and family friendly activities for everyone to join in. All Fun Run participants will receive a Treasure Hunt bag to collect your treasure and a certificate.

Cost:

5K Run ADULT/ YOUTH $25

5K Run CHILD ( Under 10 ) $20

1 Mile Fun Run ADULT/ YOUTH $15

1 Mile Fun Run CHILD (under 10 ) $10

Packet Pick-Up: Packet pick-up will take place at the Park on Saturday 17th April 2021, 6.30AM- 8.45AM

Vendor booths will be at the event for you to enjoy and Breakfast snacks and refreshments will be available throughout the morning

Event Schedule:

6:30 AM – Packet Pickup & Registration Opens

8:00 AM – 5K RACE START

9:30AM – 1 MILE FUN RUN START

Awards: 5K Top male and female in each age group will receive awards. Age groups for 5K are Child (Under 10years ) Adult (10 years and over)

Shirts: Shirt sizes are guaranteed to all participants that register before March 30th. Those that register after March 30th are subject to limited availability of shirts.

Parking: Parking will be located across from Shelter 2 and 3 in the parking lot.

Proceeds:

Proceeds from this event will help support the Ignite Academy and their mission to Ignite boundless growth through education and encouraging healthy bodies, healthy minds and healthy hearts.

Timing & Scoring: Race will be timed and scored with a disposable chip provided, which will be attached to the back of the bib.

Course: Race course is USATF sanctioned.
