Celebrating our Fifth year in 2019, The Great Lake Plunge is Evanston’s first open-water swimming event and only 4K distance swim. The event takes place in Evanston, Illinois, just north of Chicago. The swim consists of three events: 1K, 2K & 4K open-water swims. This is a not-for-profit event provides funding to support a wonderful local organization: Evanston Swims!.We promise a unique family-friendly event that will leave an impression for years to come.
