Description:

The Le Chien Running Club and Denham Springs High School Cross Country Team have partnered to host the Dog Days of Summer 5k on Saturday, August 7, 2021. The race will go along historic River Road in Denham Springs and offers runners a beautiful course. We hope to provide a worthwhile run for everyone and plan to make this an annual experience. All proceeds beyond the administrative costs of the event will be donated to the Denham Springs High School Cross Country Team. The race will be officially timed and managed by Cajun Timing. All participants will receive a t-shirt and all 5k finishers will receive a custom medal.

Registration Fees (Early & Late Fees & dates):

Early Registration thru June 27, $20 for 1-mile fun run (includes t-shirt), $30 for 5k;

After June 27 until July 31, $25 for 1-mile run, $35 for 5k

Packet Pickup (Location, Date & Time):

Le Chien Brewing Company, 101 S Hummell St, Denham Springs, LA, 70726, Thursday, August 5th, from 5 pm to 9 pm and Friday, August 6th from 5 pm to 9 pm; Race day packet pickup at race site, starting at 6:30 am

Age Groups:

14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over

Awards:

Top Overall Male/Female, Masters Champion (40 & up) Male/Female, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Male & Female in each age group
