1. Join us for the 6th annual 4th of July Stars and Strides 5k Run/Walk around the beautiful Grand Lake in Rockville, MN. Participants will begin with registration at the Public Access boat landing on Grand Lake Road at 0730, and finish with refreshments at the Flag Raising ceremony at 11167 Hubert Lane) at 9am. If you choose not to stay for the flag raising there is about a one mile walk back to the landing where cars are parked. If you stay for the ceremony there will be a pontoon ride available to the public water access to your car if you would like. Those who are registered before June 26th will receive a Stars and Strides lT-Shirt. You may sign up through July 2nd online or on the morning of the event. *Sign-up the morning of the event will have a price increase of $5.

Parking is available at the Public water access. There is a port a potty available for use at the water access.

Runners and walkers will begin at 8am.

*This is NOT a chip-timed event

*There will be prizes for top finishers, and there will a chance for all participants to win a door prizes!

*Those not participating in the event that live around the lake are encouraged to cheer on runners, play music, decorate their driveways, etc.
