The best thing(s) about the race:

• Nice scenic race through Colonia Park and along DNR Canal

What was less than ideal: Race Day Pickup was poorly organized, but this may have been because of a lot of late entries due to a nearby race being canceled the night before. No chip time, only gun time.

What I didn't expect: Far more hills than expected for what was called a fast course

Race organization: Not enough people at packet pickup, disorganized at starting line, nobody guiding anyone, no clear starting line. But otherwise well organized. Those that did the race before were comfortable, first timers were a little lost.

Fuel and aid stations: Water stations were well manned, not obvious though for those that had both water and gatorade what was what and how to get what you wanted.

Additional info: Awesome medals, nice people, pretty course, but easily confused for those who were new to the race.
