There's a reason why so many people come to the Wilmington area every year and participate in the YMCA Wrightsville Beach Triathlon:
A late season weekend at the beach – a very fast swim with an incoming tide – a 5K run around Wrightsville Beach's iconic loop – and last, but certainly not least, a critical fundraising event every year for the Wilmington Family YMCA.
