Race & Event Information:

Please join us for the Up Up and Away 5k, one of many events going on during the Oklahoma Festival of Ballooning on August 27-28. This event is Sponsored by Saint Francis Hospital and hosted by Muskogee Parks & Recreation with help from the Muskogee Running Club and I:40 Race Service.

If the weather permits, Balloonist will be launching and floating in the air all around Hatbox Events Park while the run is on going. After the run, also weather pending, there will be several free tethered hot air balloon rides raffled off to runners. Please get signed up today so you can enjoy this great festival and run!

Race Details:
– All runners will have a chance to win one of several tethered hot air balloon rides
– Shirts are guaranteed for everyone that signs up by August 8th
– Medals for the top 3 in each 5k age group, trophies for top 3 overall 5k Male and Female
– Refreshments during and after the race

Packet Pickup/Registration:
– There will be a Packet Pickup/Registration on Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 at the Parks & Rec Office at Spaulding Park. If you can't get your packet then, you can get your packet the morning of the event at the soccer concessions at Hatbox.

Registration Prices:
– 5k early bird is only $20, which goes through August 8th. $25 after that and $30 the day of the event
– Fun Run early bird is only $15, or $20 after that or the day of the event
