50K & Marathon

Run through some of the most wild and remote country in the entire Great Lakes Region. The course follows a spectacular and rugged trail along bluffs above Lake Superior before heading inland along the Two Hearted River, past Culhane Lake and then on to the finish at the Upper Tahquamenon Falls. Aid stations are located at campgrounds accessbile via dirt road so spectators can visit runners at several locations along the route.

Half  Marathon

Be challenged by this wild and beautiful  loop starting at Tahqumenon Falls.  The course heads north through the Giant Pines Area where you will enjoy the presence of 300 year old towering white pines.  The northernmost section of the trail will take you along  a high ridge overlooking Clark Lake where the occaisional moose may be seen.  The course is 90% single track.

50K : 7:00 a.m., Reed & Green Road (CR 410) near the Connor Lakes

Marathon: 7:30 a.m., Cty Rd 414, West of the CR423 Junction

Half Marathon: 8:00 a.m., Upper Tahquamenon Falls
