BROR's Twilight Trail Series takes place across three 5K / 10K trail races held on some of Prince William Country Virginia's best maintained, yet largely unknown, trails. All courses in the series are designed using existing hiking trails that include a mix of natural terrain, gravel, stream crossings, pedestrian bridges, grassy fields, and very minimal pavement. As part of BROR's mission, 100% of race proceeds are donated to local area non-profit organizations.
Whitney State Forest, quietly nestled away in Warrenton, Va, secretly has some of the most fun trails to run. At 148 acres of conservation, it also contains 4.5+ miles of wooded trails among the rolling hills and multiple streams/forks created off Great Run. The race course is entirely on the natural trails of of Whitney with 300+ feet of elevation changes and 5+ stream crossings, some that may even require you to get your feet wet, this course is definitely designed for the adventurer within you.
