WEATHER:
From Weather.com: Cloudy skies during the morning hours followed by sunny afternoon. High 80F. Winds SE at 10 to 15 mph. Chances of rain 40%.
CLOTHING:
Be prepared for great running weather however also be prepared for a possible shower later in the race. If rain doesn’t bother you we suggest you keep it to a minimum. Just bring a towel for drying off afterward. A hat can also help keep the rain off your face. If it does bother you we suggest a light running jacket that keeps you dry while not overheating you. Finally, if you wear layers and have a friend watching your race prepare to drop off layers with them after each loop if the temperature gets too warm for you.
YOUR FANS:
The best place for them to watch is at the Finish line. ( Remember they must be careful when crossing the boardwalk as there is a lane for cyclists!) They’ll see you pass twice per loop! So, prepare them to get their cheer on! We’ll pass out some cheer equipment as well, cowbells, horns, etc.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE:
This is our fourth race as part of our effort to support an amazing organization, Riverkeeper. This is a non-profit that works every day to keep our water ways and drinking water clean.
