Mountain bike cross country races York River State Park, Williamsburg, VA.

Mountain bike distances:

See laps listed per category. Lap distance is approx. 6.4 miles with a about a 0.8 mile prologue attached to lap 1.
Course: The start near registration near the main lot in a grass area just prior to the contact station. This will offer a dirt road start, of about 8/10th of a mile, which will allow time to spread riders out before you hit the single track.

Timing: These races will be chipped time by RunRideRace Management. Your timing chip will be on your race numbers. Race number need to be attached on the front of the bars. Race number should be visible.

Results: Due to lack of cellular access at the venue, we don't think we can offer live/online results. We will send out a link, prior to the race, where results will be posted. We hope to have live results if we can get a cell signal at the venue.

Parking: if you do not have a VA state park pass the park will collect parking fee, which gives you park use to the entire day. Please have cash so the line moves quickly. If there isn't park staffing there are envelopes for self serve payment.

10 RACES, 4 VENUES… from Williamsburg to Charlottesville!

Race 5 or more. We score and "keep" your TOP 5 finishes.

Bonus points: You will earn 1 point for every race past your 5th.

POINTS Scoring: 10, 9, 8, 7 down to 1 for 10th (all racers earn 1 point minimum) Example: if you win 5 events- 10 for a win times 5 events = 50…if you race the other 5 you receive 1 point per race for a 55 point total.

Solo and team series championship will be awarded.

TEAMS SCORING: Up to 5 team members' points will make up the team total per race. We will "keep" your teams best 5 totals. Team scores will not include bonus points mentioned above.
