2021 Update

Registration is now open for the 2021 Sugarloaf Marathon and 15k for deferred runners only. If you deferred your registration from 2020, you can now register for the 2021 Marathon & 15k, or wait to register for 2022. Registration is not currently open to the general public.

We are limiting registration to deferred runners only at this time in order to limit the size of the field to a number that we will be able to manage within current health guidelines. If guidelines are loosened throughout the winter, we will open registration to the general public.

While many details of the race remain up in the air at this time, we are optimisitc that we will be able to safely host the marathon and 15k with a limited capacity as scheduled on May 16th, 2021.

We will share additional details about the race and any changes in procedures as details come together in the coming months.

How to Register

Registration is open to runners who deferred their 2020 registration. If you deferred in 2020, you are currently on a priority list that allows you to register between now and January 1st for a $0 registration fee.

If you deferred your 2020 registration and wish to wait until 2022, no action is required at this time. We will have more information for you as we get closer to opening 2022 registration.

Deferrals

Registered runners have the option to defer their registration to 2022 at no additional cost. The defer option can be found by logging on to RunSignUp, navigating to Profile > Upcoming Events > Manage Registration > Defer Registration

If you donated your 2020 registration or received a refund, we will update you if we are able to allow more registrations.

Bib Pick-up

Bib pick up may look different in order to follow current guidelines. As we get closer to May, we will update you on what to expect.

Start times and Transportation

Shuttle busses will be available to the start and from the finish back to the mountain. Start and shuttle times TBD.

Lodging

Reservations for marathon weekend will be available soon, and we will contact you when they are.
