The 5k Run will start at 9:15 a.m.

RACE SERIES 2021

This event is part of the DQ Events Grand Prix and DQ Events Club Challenge.
You are scored for an overall placement, an age group placement, and for finishing the event. At the end of the series there will be prizes for free entries into 2022 and more!
To be scored in the Grand Prix all you have to do is place in the Overall, Age Group, or finish the race!
To be scored in the Club Challenge you need to select your club during registration and then place in Overall, Age Group, or finish the race!

ITINERARY

Saturday

4:30 – 6:30 pm – Optional Packet Pickup and Registration at Race Site

Sunday

6:00 – 6:45 am – Check-in, Packet Pickup and Race-Day Registration
6:45 am – Pre-race briefing at Transition Area, after the briefing we will require ALL SWIMMERS to cross over the Swim timing mat before we can start the race
7:00 am – Multisport Races start (waves based on # of entrants)
9:15 am – 5k Run starts
10:30 am – Post-Race Party & Awards Ceremony at ManaFirkin Brewing Co.

POST-RACE PARTY & AWARDS CEREMONY

There will be a party & awards ceremony at ManaFirkin Brewing Co. with drink specials. Food will also be provided. The brewery is less than one mile from the Race Site. Directions: ManaFirkin Brewing Co. 450 E Bay Ave, Manahawkin, NJ 08050

DISTANCES

Stafford Township is located just minutes from beautiful Long Beach Island. Come down, race, and enjoy a nice weekend on the white sandy beaches of LBI before summer gets into full swing. The Stafford Race course is flat and fast. The swim is in a deep fresh water lake. The bike course will be fast and is freshly paved and smooth (when the bridge construction is complete, we hope to add it back to the bike course). The run takes you along the lake road through the quiet neighborhood of Deer Lake Park. The run is an out and back course so you can keep an eye on and track down your competition. You don't want to miss this event.

The 5k run that will consist of the same 3.1 run course that the multisport athletes are using that winds you through the lovely neighborhood of Deer Lake Park. This race is for all ages and abilities. The proceeds from the 5k will be benefiting David’s Dream and Believe Cancer Foundation.

All participants must have a USAT insurance license or include insurance fee with entry fee.
