This is an event for every BODY & EVERYBODY. You can run, walk, and/or Jog It. Cinco de Miles. Run a 5k or 5 miles! We have unique, must have medals and festive shirts.event .

Come celebrate Mexican Culture with us. And be as victorious in your pursuit of health as those warriors were in their victory at the Battle of Puebla. 3.1 miles and 5 miles . You can do it! And have fun meeting people.

Chips and Salsa at the race. MUSIC on the course and a LIVE warm-up session and party before and after the race. PLUS, PLUS, PLUS …you have RFIP CHIP TIMING and age division awards by our Itz About Time Crew! COOL custom cast medals and Cinco De MILES authentic event t-shirts.

YOU get a 4th reward for doing three SUMMER EVENTS: Cinco De Miles, SO Cal Pirate's Run, 4th of July Red, White, & Blue , and the TIKI BEACH 5k/10K are the summer race options.

THE COURSE:
Experience the music, the flare of Mexico while running a BEACH RACE COURSE filled with Fiesta THEME. Flat, Fast course for avid runners. Paved road and paved sidewalk make it fun for runners, joggers, walkers, and strollers

7:30 am Salsa Dancing Warm up
7:50 am Race Ceremonies and National Anthem.
8:00 am RACE STARTS

PARKING:
PARKING at BOLSA CHICA STATE BEACH is $15. You may wish to carpool. To enter into BOLSA CHICA STATE BEACH go in the main gate on PCH and drive the furthest EAST to the very last parking lot. The race is staged in view of that famous Jack In the Box on the corner of Warner and PCH.

Virtual Run: The virtual run race is perfect for those who can't make the race but still want to earn a medal! Participant will choose their own date and location to run the distance on their own through the "honor" system and receive their custom event shirt and medal in the mail. Now your friends and family from across the miles can celebrate and participate with you! Packets will not be available before race day. You will be able to pick up your packets at Early Packet Pick Up location or if you need it mail, we will mail it the on Wednesday following the event. Shipping fee applies.

Pets: Friendly Pets are allowed and must be leashed at all times and accompanied by a Run /Walk participant. One pet per participant. Please use a leash of 5 ft or less, for the safety of all pets. We also ask that you line up towards the back of the pack at the start and keep to the side of the race field on the course.

Stroller: Families can bring strollers, bikes, and tricycles, but agree to use at own risk. Kids must have pads and helmets at all time. We do ask that you line up towards the back of the pack at the start and keep to the side of the race field on the course. Note, that only register participants with a BIB will receive a finisher medal. Please make sure your BIB is in the front and visible to our volunteers.

Race will take place rain or shine.
