Stretch your limits, swim a marathon distance, and celebrate the fourth year of Seattle’s Invitational 10k! Because of this route’s beauty and challenge, many swimmers describe this swim as a highlight of their open water experiences.

Swimmers receive a Seattle 10k OWS sticker and Marathon Swim certificate. All water safety volunteers receive their choice of champagne or chocolate.

Swimmers of all speeds participate in this event. For safety reasons, there is a 6-hour cut-off. Our Zodiac will pick up any swimmers still in the water after the six hour mark.
