The D.A.S.H. is an annual family friendly community-supported run/walk. This event was created to bring attention to food insecurity within our small rural community. It highlights efforts to alleviate hunger through the Weekend Meals Backpack and a lunch money fund for students in the school, a local food pantry, Karen's Kupboard, available to those in need and several Blessing Boxes open 24/7/365. For the year 2021, the event will be in person. The course will begin and end behind the Santa Fe Unit School, 2629 Santa Fe Pike. The 5K will continue to Fly Road and turn around at Herman Church Road, The one mile event will begin and end behind the school and go around the Square at Fly, Water Valley and Lewis Roads. The purpose is to "Do A Service Here" by promoting the food ministries in the community and encouraging all ages to participate in healthy activities. The Maury County Sheriff's Department will control traffic. A Matter of Timing will record results. This is a rain or shine event. NO REFUNDS. Will change to a virtual event if necessary.
