Red Shoe Run is an annual celebration of family, fundraising and awareness for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama.
Now in its 17th year, Red Shoe Run is going new distances to make a difference for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama! Red Shoe Run will be held Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Homewood Central Park! This Birmingham favorite may look different in Spring of 2021 with a socially distanced start line for our in-person event, a virtual 5k option, and a virtual awards ceremony to top off the day!
Long live rock and roll, we're bringing this fan favorite theme back for another year as our "Rockin’ 5K" so we’ll have lots of music along the course and we encourage runners to wear a fun costume!
All money raised through the Red Shoe Run stays at the Ronald McDonald House in Birmingham to keep families together at a time when it’s needed most. This year, our special awards for top individual fundraiser, the top fundraising team, the most spirited team and the largest team will be announced virtually. Team perks include a Team Roll Call during our virtual awards ceremony.
