The 2021 Road Run in Person Event & Virtual Challenge, hosted by The Friends of Reading Hospital, will include a virtual race challenge in addition to our standard event distances – 1 mile, 5K, and Half Marathon.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the Friends are excited to announce that proceeds from registrations for this year’s event will be directed toward a targeted fundraising project in cooperation with the Reading Hospital Foundation to purchase a Reading Hospital Mobile Mammography Coach, increasing access to important preventive health services for women. The Mobile Mammography Coach bus will travel to various locations throughout the community, offering more women a convenient way to receive a 3D mammogram.
