Where: Geraldine, MT
Race type(s): 13.1M, 5K

Get off the pavement and come explore the Big Sky on this county road race on the Geyser Cutoff Road between Geraldine and Geyser, Montana. Explore the hidden treasures in your own back yard as you run through the hills and onto the prairie finishing the race on Main Street, Geraldine, Montana!!

Both races feature beautiful, Central Montana scenery! The 5K run/walk is a gradual descent into town featuring Square Butte and Round Butte mountains; whereas, the half marathon course will traverse the foothills between the Highwood Mountains and Round Butte as you make your way across the hills descending into town. The following race decisions will be made for the Ranch Run Half Marathon & 5K as we move through the Governor Phased Reopening

PHASE 3:

If Montana is in “Phase 3”, no changes will be made to race day and it will continue as normal. If you are a “vulnerable population”, we ask that you take precautionary measures on race day. We will provide a clean and sanitary event.

PHASE 2:

If Montana is in “Phase 2”, the event will take place, but with changes in place to ensure everyone’s health and safety.

Wave Starts: Runners will be assigned a designated start time and arrival time window. Waves will be divided up into 50 runners or less (we can place you with a running friend if you would like – just ask).

Aid Stations: All stations are “cup-less”. We encourage you to bring your own water and fuel to minimize contact at aid stations.

Transportation to start: It (may) be encouraged to have a “driver” (friend or family member) take you to the start line and drop you off if able. If not possible, buses will be available for transportation to the start line and appropriate measures will be taken.

Bystanders: If you choose to wait near the finish line then it will be encouraged that you stay in or near your car until your “racer” is nearing the finish line and maintain appropriate social distancing as appropriate.

Award Ceremony: The award ceremony (may) be cancelled and awards will be handed out as finishers complete the race and or mailed to the participant following the event. Please ensure that we have your correct mailing address at registration.

Cleanliness: Hand sanitizer will be placed strategically throughout the event with extra cleaning processes in place.

PHASE 1:

If Montana is in “Phase 1”, the race will be canceled. Registered runners may choose one of the following options:

Option 1 – rollover your registration to 2022.

Option 2 – receive a partial refund. This amount will be determined upon final announcement of cancellation.

Option 3 – donate your race entry funds to Geraldine Action Committee
