Join PPIE's Virtual Race 2021 Event!

Welcome to PPIE’s 9th Annual Race to Education for our entire community. Our 9th Annual Race will be a Virtual Race. Our goal is to encourage as many people as possible to run / walk /bike around the world, and have fun while raising much needed funds for our schools and students during this challenging time. Last year, we raced around the USA, twice, clocking 28,000+ miles!!! Hence this year, we plan to run around the world, visiting some countries that represent our diverse and multi-faceted community.

DATES – April 11-18, 2021
GOAL – Race around the world (track individual & community miles)! Stops in China, India, Middle East, Europe and back to Pleasanton – with e-postcards and virtual badges from different countries!
TEAMS – Join a school or company team for some friendly competition and (we hope) prizes!
GEAR – Cool one-of-a-kind Virtual Race 2021 shirts to commemorate this unique time in our history!
DISCOUNTS – wear your Race shirt during April 11-18 to selected local businesses around town, to get discounts and support our community – check here for updates!
RACE Shirt pick up: Sunday, April 11 & Monday, April 12 – drive through packet pick-up @ BayClub
ROUTES – Run, Walk or Bike your own favorite routes or check out some of our suggestions on the website!

PRICING –
Early bird registration till March 15: $20 with shirt; $15 without shirt (+$8 for t-shirt to be mailed)
March 16 through April 5: $25 with shirt; $20 without shirt (+$8 for t-shirt to be mailed)
50% discount to PUSD Teachers/Staff (ID is required)
