The Peanut Butter and Jelly Kids Fun Run is back for a 5th year event! Organized by YMCA volunteers as a part of the Y’s Togetherhood Initiative, this project allows Y members to collectively give back to the Travelers Rest community.

This event will support the North Greenville Crisis Ministry. Each summer, hundreds of kids are not in school for lunch and there is a huge need for easily prepared meals for these children. One large need is for jars of peanut butter and jelly.

Please register online. Entry fee is one jar of peanut butter and one jar of jelly per participant.

Collection of PB&J from June 8 – June 30 at the George I. Theisen Family YMCA

We will have the virtual Fun Run to be completed the weekend of June 26 – June 28th

Racers will be asked to run their distance and share a picture or video of them participating and tagging the George I. Theisen Family YMCA on Facebook

We will have race bibs / numbers for the participants to pick up at the YMCA the week of June 22nd – June 26th.

Distances are below and will be added on the Facebook events post:

Ages 3 and under: 1/4 mile
Ages 4-6: 1/2 mile
Ages 7 and up: 1 mile
