Welcome back to the 2021 Olmsted Spirit 5k! Since 1998 the Olmsted Spirit 5k Run/Walk has been part of the Olmsted Community and we are happy to be back in person for our 23rd year!

Our Mission:

To bring together the Olmsted and surrounding communities for a fun morning of physical activity. We are excited to welcome you back to a live, in-person event! This year will be a little different as we will offer multiple heat times for you to start so there isn't one large crowd of hundreds. We want to keep you comfortable and safe! For many years now the goal of this event has been to use the proceeds to award scholarships to Olmsted Falls High School Seniors who have volunteered and given back to the community they grew up in! This year we have also decided to split the proceeds and donate half the proceeds to local businesses in the Olmsted Community. 2020 was a tough year for all of us in some way. Together, we will make a difference for this amazing Olmsted Community!

Tentative Heat Schedule:

**This year our run/walk will start at 8AM! We will be running multiple heats that will be starting every 5 minutes. Each heat will be capped at 50 participants (this may change depending on what current COVID-19 protocol dictates). Our Kids Fun Run will start AFTER the final 5k run/walk heat starts. When registering you will be able to put in your predicted finish time for your run/walk that will assign you to a specific heat. An e-mail will be sent to you prior to the day of the run so you know what time you will be starting.

Registration:

• Adult Registration:
  • $20 now until the day of the event
  • $25 on the day of the event
• Kids Fun Run Registration:
  • $10 now until the day of the event
  • $20 on the day of the event

**T-shirts are not included in registration. There will be an Olmsted Spirit Merchandise Fundraiser in March. We will also have shirts available for those who registered and purchased one for 2020's cancelled event.

Race Route:

Stay tuned. We will likely present you with a new race route. We will have it finalized and available for you to view by April.

Overall and Age Group Winners:

This year awards will be presented to the Top 3 Females and Males Only. However, every participant will receive a unique Olmsted Spirit Medal!
