Runners start from the Environmental Learning Center and travel through 3 parks while covering either 13.1, 26.2 or 31.1 miles. The layout is a 2 mile trail loop, 9 mile trail loop, and an out and back on 1.75 miles of road that connects the trails. The course consists of a suspension bridge, wooden bridges, steps and hills.

Aid stations and restrooms will be placed along the course as well as a fully heated Environmental Learning Center which serves as the main aid station and Start/Finish area.
