Every year we celebrate National Love Your Pet Day by hosting a 5K and 1 mile run/walk that raises funds for shelters and rescues all over the country. This year, our race has gone virtual, but we are still excited to celebrate the special bond between pets and their parents with this event!

It's very simple to take part. Just register for the distance of your choice, choose the time, date and location of your race, and choose your own route too. You can run with your dog or without, it's up to you. And just because the race is virtual doesn't mean you have to participate alone! You can run or walk with family, friends, neighbors or co-workers (safely socially distanced of course) or you can register to join a team that directly benefits your favorite animal shelter or pet rescue organization. Just select the "join existing team" option at registration.

All participants receive a custom medal and t-shirt after the event. This year's event might look different but let's come together to make it a huge success and celebrate the joy of pet ownership.
