Native American Health Center (NAHC) in excited to announce that we will be hosting our 20th Running Is My High (RIMH) event on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the Fairly Land area of Lake Merritt; 699 Bellevue Ave., Oakland, CA 94610. This year’s RIMH event will be a very special iteration, as we will safely be hosting our first in-person event since the COVID-19 pandemic, AND will be celebrating NAHC’s 50th Anniversary.
The overall goal of Running is My High, is to engage community members from all walks of life in an event emphasizing Community Health Services, promoting physical, mental, dental, and social/cultural health. Annually, the event draws an average of over 500 participants that encompass runners, exercise enthusiasts from the entire San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. As always, there will also be programming that highlight Native American cultural practices and outreach tables intended to connect individuals to critical health resources. Online registration closes on June 10th and costs $15 for adults and $5 for youth, in-person registration on the day of the event is $20 for adults and $10 for youth.
