WELCOME TO MISSING CX 5 MILE AND 15 MILE GRAVEL RACES. WE ARE BACK WITH THE ADDITION OF A 15 MILE GRAVEL RACE. THE RACE WILL BE RUN ON THE SAME COURSE AS THE BICYCLE RACE. ALL RACES ARE "INDIVIDUAL START" TIME TRIALS. WE WILL EMAIL YOU YOUR START TIME ONCE ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES.
We are also hosting a 15 mile (9am) GRAVEL Bike Race AND a 5 mile (10:30) kids bicycle race on 11/14/21. If you are interested in racing both the Run and Bike race we are offering $10 off the total entry fee. We can also work with you so that you can do your run soon after you finish the bike race if you prefer. RACERS 18 AND UNDER $15 FOR THE 15 MILE RACE AND $10 FOR THE 5 MILE RACE
The race is approximately 15 miles or 5 miles on gravel (80%) and trail, field and road (10%) hosted at Fairhill Park in Elkton, Maryland. Race distance is approximate and race director reserves the right to make changes to the course. Race will be held in inclement weather unless it is deemed unsafe. Please be prepared (course may be altered for racers safety). The races will be individual wave starts beginning at 10am for the 15 mile race and 10:45am for the 5 mile race. We will start the faster racers first based on your predicted mile time. You will be asked to indicate your mile time when you register. Racers will line up based on their projected mile times and will start in 15 second intervals. The race is held on the beautiful gravel roads and trails of Fairhill. We take our COVID-19 precautions seriously and we will comply with current regulations for the state of Maryland and the park. We will not have any aid stations so please be prepared to carry your own food and water. We will have a "Racer Drop Bag" area set up approximately 1/2 way through the 15 mile course. Racers will drop their "labeled" bag at registration. It will be returned at the end of the race – which may be very late in the day.
We are continuing with our practice of making a donation (at least equal to your registration fee) in the winner's name to one of 5 charities. Results will be posted online and will not be posted at the event.
