The seventh annual “Miles for Smiles 5K Run/Walk,” presented by North Orange Family Dentistry, will be held at North Orange Park in Lewis Center. Proceeds from this event support the Free To Smile Foundation and the North Orange Family Dentistry Scholarship with the Delaware County Foundation.

Our 2021 event has open registration for four events: the In-Person 5K, the In-Person 1K Kids Fun Run, the In-Person Kids Dash, and the Virtual 5K. At this time, we are planning to host the Miles For Smiles events physically for those who elect the in-person event options. If we have not received final approval from local government and health officials to host the event by May 24, 2021, all registrants for the in-person 5K event will be transitioned at that time to the virtual event at no additional cost.

Please note: All registrants through July 1st will receive an event t-shirt. Due to t-shirt ordering and printing deadlines, t-shirts cannot be guaranteed for those registering July 2nd or beyond.

Free to Smile Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation whose founders appreciate their blessings and want to share their gifts with those who need it most— impoverished children born with cleft lip and palate deformity who live in underserved worlds and endure social stigma, speech defects, and nutritional challenges.

The North Orange Family Dentistry Scholarship was created to provide post-secondary support to a Delaware County graduating senior who plans to study dentistry, medicine, science, or a medically related field. The beginning of Dr. Bogan’s own path to becoming a dentist was paved with help from community scholarships similar to this. He formed this scholarship to help others begin their own path in health care.
