May the Course Be with You – this is the race you’re looking for! Celebrate the spirit of May the 4th (on May the 1st!) and kick it into hyper-drive for the 3rd Annual Star Wars-themed charity run! This year we are offering the 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run IN-PERSON and we will also offer a VIRTUAL 5K (to be completed between May 1-15). Both In-Person races (5K and 1-Mile Fun Run) start and finish in the parking lot of Lawndale Baptist Church. The Virtual 5K is a "Run Anywhere" race using the RaceJoy app.

Worried you can't run a 5K? Remember, the Force will be with you. Always.

All participants are welcomed (and encouraged) to dress in costume! Best Costume prizes will be awarded and winners will be chosen by peer votes. Additionally, there will be great prizes for race winners and a chance to win one of many awesome door prizes.

All proceeds from May the Course Race benefit Restoration Place Counseling (RPC), a local nonprofit offering affordable and professional Christian counseling services to girls and women in the Triad and beyond. High cost is both a nationally and locally documented reason why people do not seek mental health care. RPC exists to remove this obstacle for those in need.
