Marietta Shamrock Shuffle 5K

The Marietta Police Athletic League hosts the Shamrock Shuffle to raise funds in support of after school and summer camp activities for kids between ages 5 and 18 years of age. 100% of the proceeds will be used to improve the health, education and cultural enrichment of kids and reduce the incidents of juvenile crime in the Cobb County area. The 5th Annual Shamrock Shuffle will be a virtual race scheduled to occur from March 6th at 6:00 am – Mrach 13th at 12 noon in 2021. Race participants will compete and post their results between the designated times of Saturday, March 6th, 2021 through Saturday, March 13th, 2021.

There will be a Pot of Gold Celebration to end the race Saturday March 13th, 2021 from 4 pm to 6 pm. The Pot of Gold Celebration is a fun opportunity to celebrate the end of the race with family and friends in a safe, socially distanced environment. We encourage all attendees to wear masks in addition to keeping a distance of 6 feet from others at the event. Awards will be presented to race category winners and for the best costume. Gift bags will be presented to race participants containing the race T-shirt and some great swag. The Event will have a festive atmosphere with light entertainment. The location for the Pot of Gold Celebration is (coded name) “Emerald Isle” and the exact location will only be released in the days prior to the event.
