Maitland BRIDGEfest 5k will be the first opportunity for community members to utilize the brand new pedestrian bridge that connects Maitland over I-4, just south of Maitland Boulevard. The bridge is currently under construction, and is forecasted to be complete and open in time for our May 2021 race date.

Runners and walkers will get to enjoy pre- and post-race festivities featuring local vendors from the Lake Destiny Soccer Field, which will serve as our start and finish area for the race.

The event will raise money for non-profit groups in Maitland and Eatonville, primarily through a corresponding "game-of-chance" drawing for a new Mercedes-Benz vehicle. Tickets for the game-of-chance vehicle drawing will be sold for $100 each in the months leading up to race day.
