Concordia Lutheran Church & Trinity Lutheran Church presents the 7th Annual Love Thy Neighbor 5k & 10k Race/Walk, Breakfast, & Silent Auction Benefiting the family of Crystal Wing

September 11, 2021 – Rain or Shine!

Race Location – Concordia Lutheran Church, 185 Concordia Church Road, China Grove, NC 28023

You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than this. Mark 12:31

Schedule of Events:

7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – Breakfast (included for all racers/walkers – others by donation)

7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – Silent Auction

8:00 a.m. – 5k & 10k Races Start

10:00 a.m. – Kids' Fun Run Starts

10:45 a.m. – Awards

11:00 a.m. – Silent Auction Bidding Closes

New this year is a partnership with the Salisbury Rowan Runners that will enhance our 5K and 10K races as well as the fun run. All runners will be accurately timed, the course measure,d and medals will be presented to the top three in each age group. Complete results will be posted at Salisbury Rowan Runners after the race.

Awards: – Trophies for overall male & female in the 5k and 10k and top 3 age group awards: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over. Medals for 1st place male and female in kids' fun run.

Fees:

5k race / walk – $25

10k race / walk – $25

Fun Run – $10

Breakfast Only – Donation (Breakfast is included for all racers/walkers)

Course Information: – Both races begin and end at Concordia Lutheran Church (185 Concordia Church Road). The courses are out and back and take you through the rolling countryside of the Atwell Township community. There are two water stations for the 5k and three for the 10k.
