Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 11th! Do you have what it takes to be King or Queen of the Mountain?

King of the Mountain & Queen of the Mountain, is a new race at Monte Sano State Park. The race will start at the top of closed Bankhead road and run down to the bottom and straight back up (242ft of gain over 2 kilometers) . We will track the split between the start at the top of the mountain, split at the bottom of the mountain, and finish time. We were inspired by the mountain stages of the Tour de France and the awarding of the polka dot jersey! Make your mark as Queen or King of the Mountain!

Race day packet pickup will be held at the park starting at 6:45am.

This race will be set up in waves of 25 people spread out every 5 minutes to ensure we can maintain proper social distancing protocol. You will be able to select your wave/time. Please ensure that if you are registering to run with a group of friends or family that you all select the same wave.
