This is the second of our 3 night races on our schedule over the summer! Why not run at night after the blazing sun has gone down! This is the longest of our night races at 8K. The course in entirely paved but there are very few street lights and only a few homes on the course. You will need a head lamp or a small flashlight. We are also bringing back our unique Glow Course. The last time we did that was the original Moon over Myakka 5K. People loved it! You will too! The Englewood Firefighters also have a surprise for you! Their large ladder truck will be setup close to the finish line proudly displaying a large American Flag and it will be spraying water on a section of the course to cool you off! (If you like) Overall winners will receive a new pair of Asics shoes and Fit2Run Gifts cards. Age group awards will go 3 deep and all the Masters’ awards will be given out! DJ Bustin Justin will be spinning the tunes. There will be hot hamburgers and cheeseburgers, along with fresh hot French fries and Ice Cold Beer, Hard Cider, and hard seltzer. Also a 50/50 Drawing!
