Join us for the 20th running of our race series at the historic Grand Caverns Park in Grottoes, VA. The 5K race series offers a “flat and fast” course in & around the park.

This is a CERTIFIED 5K race with a twilight start (6:00 PM).

The 1-Mile fun run / wallk stays within the park along the pictureque trail. One Mile starts approximately 5 minutes after the start of the 5K.

All proceeds will go towards the purchase of a new children’s playground at the park.

PLEASE be prepared to wear a face mask and to practice social distancing. Face masks should be removed at the start of your race.

Event details and schedule

Packet pickup will begin at 4:31 PM the day of the race. Please park in the first lot on the left (pass the entrance booth). The registration table, race start, etc. will all be up along the upper parking lot (right of the cottage).

The age group winners for the 5K, along with the top 1-Mile finishers, will be announced following the end of the races. We will have our usual abundance of gifts / door prizes to give away to partiicpants following the race.

We will run this race in all safe weather conditions (rain, snow, etc.).
