The City of Graham is remembering the tragedy and the heroes of the September 11th attacks and will commemorate the 20th anniversary by hosting a 5K run and event to bring people in the community together. The 5K will begin at the Graham Fire Department and loop around Graham (see attached map for route). Medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, place winners in various age groups. First responders will have the option to sign up the day of to the event to enter a team for the “First Responders Team Cup”: minimum of three runners with the average time determining the winner.

Families are encouraged to attend and a Kid’s Zone will also be available featuring an obstacle course, the Park & Play Mobile Recreation program, and activities offered by community organizations. There will also be the opportunity to help out the community by participating in the blood drive provided by OneBlood (reserve your time to donate online).
