The Gaylord Gauntlet is a 5k Trail and Obstacle run. Held on the grounds of Gaylord Hospital which has over 400 acres of land in rural Wallingford, CT. Its a blend of wooden trail and open field running with natural and man made obstacles. The entire event is coordinated and built by Gaylord Hospital staff & volunteers to benefit the Hospital. There is also a festival area of some local vendors and food trucks will be on hand while music is provided, each runner over 21 gets a free beer or beverage upon completion of the course.
