For the seventh year in a row, the Town of Thurmont is offering a challenging 5K loop course that is both interesting for avid runners as well as participants looking to complete their first 5K! Walking (and strollers!) are always welcome too!

Over the past six years, the Town of Thurmont has raised over $83,000 donated to the Patty Hurwitz Fund at FMH for breast cancer research (Pink Ribbon Frederick). Continuing in this endeavor, all money raised from the Gateway to the Cure Covered Bridge 5K will be donated to the Fund.

Each registrant will receive a custom-logo T-shirt. There will be before and after race food as well. Awards go to the Top 5 Male and Female finishers regardless of age.
